Mt. Pisgah, one of four patterns in the Land of the Sky collection, is a beginner-friendly pattern with half-square triangles, rectangles, and easy Stitch-and-Flip corners to create the diamonds. Loosely based on the traditional Bright Star quilt block, Mt. Pisgah catches the eye like the brightest star in the sky. Mt. Pisgah, part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is a well-recognized part of the Asheville, NC skyline. It rises from the Pisgah National Forest which was established in 1916 by the Vanderbilt family as part of the Biltmore Estate (later sold to the federal government to remain a national forest).
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
